34th edition of the Puppet Festival Chucheon

The first edition of the festival was organized in 1989. It was hosted by a few puppet companies. Since then, the festival has grown steadily, and it is now the most famous puppet festival in Korea. It is organized by the Chuncheon Puppet Center.

From August 24 to 29 the city of Chuncheon will host the General Assembly of AVIAMA, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2022.
