The Titirijai festival, an unmissable autumn event, returns this year with more enthusiasm than ever, wishing to see the theaters filled with young and old, who come to celebrate puppetry, which is now a tradition of the city of Tolosa, the province of Gipuzkoa and the Basque country “Eusakl Herria.

This year the festival will welcome 23 companies from the 10 surrounding provinces and 8 different countries.

In total 77 performances and a program of activities for ALL, children, adults, professionals, and puppet lovers, to be discovered among others at TOPIC, Tolosa Puppets International Center.

On the occasion of the festival, a tribute will be paid to two unmissable public events that have been working for many years to professionalize our sector, the Teatralia festival and the World Puppet Theatre Festival in Charleville-Mézières, which just celebrated its 60th birthday.

The TOPIC will invite the professionals to days of reflections around the question of the training and the professionalization of the puppeteer in Europe.

Two exhibitions will also be presented: an exhibition on the history of the Paper Theater and a unique exhibition combining vinyl records and the world of puppetry, offered by the Centre de Títelles de Lleida
