On 13 and 15 February 2025, Odradek organised at its premises in Quint-Fonsegrives (31), a series of evenings to showcase the end-of-study solos of the 4th year of the Toolbox professional training course.
La Boîte à Outils is a puppet arts apprenticeship open to anyone wishing to learn puppet theatre. The 4th class ran from 1 October 2024 to 18 February 2025 and offered 10 young artists the chance to discover the basics of the puppet theatre profession: building, acting, animating, manipulating and performing with puppets, objects and materials.
This training was supplemented by a study trip and professional connection in Spain, at the TOPIC centre in Tolosa, and the hosting of a student from the Dantzerti drama school in Bilbao on a module of the Toolbox, actions supported by the AVIAMA Puppets & Mobility Grant. Their aim? To forge international links, discover new professional realities, open up aesthetic universes…
At the end of these five months of discovery and learning, each trainee presented the fruits of their labour in the form of a 10-minute one-man show. These performances were followed by a convivial moment to exchange ideas and bring this 4th promotion to a wonderful close!
