Chuncheon

Chuncheon is the capital of Gangwon Province, located in northeastern South Korea. The city is an ideal place to spend a few days away from the bustle of the capital and urban centers. It currently has nearly 300,000 inhabitants.

Surrounded by hills and rivers, it offers the atmosphere of a quiet town where you can practice many activities.

Culture is a big part of it : an international mime festival and an important international puppet theater festival take place there. The first edition took place in 1989 and he has become today the most famous of Korea, celebrating in 2018 his 30th birthday.

It takes place mainly at the Chuncheon Puppet Theater and on the esplanade surrounding it, as well as in the adjacent streets. His opening parade traditionally brings together a wide audience
