On June 16-24, 2023, the 5th edition of PUPPETS’ METAMORPHOSES International Festival of Puppet Theatres for Adults organized by Białystok Puppet Theatre will take place.
The aim of the Festival is to present most valuable phenomena and current trends in contemporary puppet theatre for adults. Spectators will have the opportunity to observe a wide spectrum of puppetry art presented by outstanding artists from Poland and abroad.
The Festival will host such groups as Plexus Polaire from France, The Key Theatre from Israel, Kaunas State Puppet Theatre from Lithuania, TAMTAM objektentheater and Cat Smits Company from the Netherlands, Divadlo Alfa from the Czech Republic and Zero en Conducta from Spain – and more.
PUPPETS’ METAMORPHOSES Festival will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 70th “birthday” of Białystok Puppet Theatre.
